1982–2004 Chevy S-10 Front Air Suspension Cup Kit
EKMW front mounting kit for Chevy S-10 and GMC Sonoma pickups. The kit replaces the front coil-spring mounting arrangement with air-bag cups and shock-relocation components for a front air-suspension conversion.
Fitment & wheel size
- 1982–2004 Chevy S-10 / GMC Sonoma pickup
- Designed to lay on approximately 18-inch wheels when used with drop spindles and factory control arms
- Drop spindles are required for the stated wheel/ride-height setup
Kit design
The upper cup bolts into the factory spring pocket. The lower cup is angled to move the air bag away from the frame as the suspension cycles. Upper and lower shock relocators are also included.
Air bag compatibility
The original application information lists common 7-inch air bags including Firestone 224C/2600 lb, Air Lift Dominator D2600 and Slam Specialties RE-7 style bags.
Installation note
This kit requires cutting and welding. Larger-diameter air bags can provide additional lift and ride quality but may require more clearance work during installation.
