Step 1
Air Management
Choose the valves and controls that raise, lower and level your suspension.
Shop Air Management KitsEKMW rear air suspension kit for 2007–2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. The system combines a 2-link rear suspension, welded step notch, shock mounts, bag mounts and panhard-bar components for a full rear air-ride conversion.
The one-piece notch slips over the frame and welds in place. Upper shock mounts are already welded to the crossbars. After the notch is installed, the frame is cut and boxed using the supplied filler pieces.
The 2-link bars install using the factory hangers and bolt to the axle with the supplied U-bolt kit. The bars include the lower bag mounts and lower shock mounts. The upper bag mounts are positioned over the 2-link bag mounts and welded in place.
The notch already includes the panhard-bar frame mount. Bolt the panhard bar to the notch and weld the axle-side mount to complete the suspension layout.
The original application information lists Firestone 224C/2600 lb, Air Lift Dominator D2600 and Slam Specialties RE-7 style air bags as compatible options.
This kit requires welding, frame cutting and fabrication. Confirm wheel/tire dimensions and ride-height goals before installation.
