1999–2006 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 Front Control Arm Kit

EKMW front air suspension control-arm kit for 1999–2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD pickups. This system is designed for larger-wheel air-ride builds while maintaining the ability to properly align the truck and correct steering geometry.

Fitment

• 1999–2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 / GMC Sierra 1500
• 2WD only — not available for 4WD applications
• Designed for 24-inch to 28-inch wheel-and-tire combinations
• Factory spindles required

Kit includes

• Upper and lower control arms
• Factory-style MOOG ball joints
• Upper bag plate
• Upper shock mount
• Upper-control-arm relocation tabs
• Steering adapter kit for the factory rack

Geometry & track width

The steering adapter is designed to help correct steering issues and reduce toe and bump-steer problems associated with a heavily lowered air-suspension setup. The control arms narrow the front track width approximately 1 inch per side.

Required spindle service

You must ship your factory spindles to Ekstensive Metal Works so they can be drilled to fit the new ball joints and steering kit. This kit only works with factory spindles.

Replacement ball joints are factory-style units and can be sourced through a local auto-parts store when service is needed.
